Bounty Killa is to answer to allegations of assault in the Gun Court on March 20.

The Alliance leader appeared in court yesterday (06/03/12) for trail but the matter was delayed.

Bounty Killa is charged jointly with former police con- stable for illegal possession of firearm, assault at common-law and unlawful wounding.

Allegations are that Bounty Killer and a group of men assaulted an off-duty policeman along St Lucia Avenue in New Kingston.

It is reported that the policeman had left a club and noticed a number of vehicles blocking a section of the roadway. He reportedly signaled the men to clear the roadway when he was attacked, and a gun was allegedly pointed at him.

In relating news, Bounty Killa had a commemorative event for his mother on Monday at the family home in Seaview Gardens. Miss Ivy, who Killa introduced to fans through songs, is expected to be laid to rest on March 17.

She died on February 26.
