REGGAE singer Jah Cure has just wrapped up filming for a music video in the gulf state of Dubai.

Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, was in Dubai for three weeks to shoot for the video for the single Looking at Me.

A report in Dubai's the Nation newspaper quotes the singer as saying that he had fallen in love with Dubai and expressed an interest in working with talent there.

"Every superstar knows about Dubai. The city is a highlighted place. I came to chill and have a good time. I also thought it would be good to lift some up-and-coming filmmakers and videographers," Jah Cure told The Nation.

The reggae artiste also said that in addition to looking at possible property investments in Dubai, he wished to reach out to a wider audience and allow for an exchange of music and culture.

"I'm also looking to cross over to other regions such as India and Pakistan. Here, in Dubai, I want to cross over with some Arab artistes and try to explore other cultures of music to share each other's fan base," he was quoted as saying.

This is not the first time Jah Cure has shot a video overseas. Last year, he used the picturesque, old world charm of Cuba as the set for the video for his hit song Unconditional Love.

Shady Kasem, the Dubai-based director of the music video, said the final product will be released within the next two months.

"Jah Cure's music has the power to touch your heart," he was quoted as saying.
