Bugle receives outpour of love in St Lucia

Dancehall artiste Bugle recently returned to the island after performing at the St Lucia Love Fest event. The artiste was well received by fans who sang along to his hits word for word.

In a release to the media, Bugle pointed out that this was his first time to St Lucia and he enjoyed the entire experience.

"It was superb. I believe I did a great job because of the kind of reception that I got from the fans. This was my first time performing in St Lucia and it was a truly great experience," he said.

The Shocking Vibes/Major Links recording artiste pointed out that since his performance in St Lucia, he has received reports from fans on social media outlets that his songs are enjoying major rotation on the radio stations there.

"I have been told that since I left there, my songs have been getting a lot of rotation more than before," said Bugle.

Bugle has promised that the rest of his fans in the Caribbean will get to see him soon as he is booked to perform on a number of shows across the Caribbean. He also has upcoming performances in England.

Bugle recently released songs like Nuh Trust on the So Bad rhythm, Kush on the Nymphomaniac rhythm and Live Fi Die on the Smudge rhythm.

Smirnoff to power Smudge

Smudge has become one of the staple events on the entertainment calendar, earning a reputation as one of the most thrilling parties of the festive season. On Monday, December 26, TJ Records and new title sponsor and beverage partner, Smirnoff, will power this highly anticipated event.

Smirnoff is known the world over for creating original cocktails and nightlife experiences. Its collaboration with this event will add even more excitement and originality.

According to Safia Cooper, brand manager, Smirnoff, "We see the amazing potential in this event and it is the right fit for Smirnoff. The brand plans to complement the offerings already in place, so consumers can come prepared for an exciting and unforgettable night."

Smudge will be held on the lawns of the Police Officers' Club from 2 - 10 p.m., and will feature ZJ's Liquid, Chrome, Ice and DJ Taj. A two-for-one ladies special before 5 p.m., will no doubt, find favour with the female patrons. Pre-sold tickets are available at Gabriella's, Candy Apple, Xtra's, Genus Pharmacy and Get It Couriers for $2,000, while admission at the gate will be $2,500.

I-Octane song dominates # 1 spot

Reggae sensation I-Octane has been in the #1 spot for three weeks with his hot single Burn Dem Bridge on the Fi Wi Choice Singles Chart.

Octane has also been standing firm at #1 for two weeks on Hype TV VTX video chart with the song's video. His single, Nah Wash has been at #1 for three weeks on the Hype TV Top 20 Singles Chart.

With his 2011 year ending with a bang, his fans can look forwards to more from him in 2012, with his debut album, Crying To The Nation, set for release on February 14, 2012 by VP Records.
