Flippa Moggela thrills Miami fans

Dancehall artiste Flippa Moggela (formerly Flippa Mafia) was a hit with fans in Miami over the recent Memorial Weekend.

The artiste was quite visible on the social and entertainment scene as he made his presence felt at several events which he either hosted or performed at.

In a release to THE WEEKEND STAR, Flippa said his fans in Miami welcomed him with open arms.

"Miami was the place to be. It was off the chain. I performed at Black and White and the crowd just went mad. I also performed at Doza pool party, which was one of the biggest events of the weekend. It was just crazy vibes," the release said.

Responding to queries about his recent name change, Flippa said his fans have given their approval to the new name.

"My fans said it's a good look and it was the right move to change the name, because Flippa Moggela fits more with the image," he explained.

The artiste is currently preparing to promote his major stage show which is traditionally held on Labour Day in Philadelphia.

"Right now, I am trying to book the right artistes and making all the preparations. I want this event to be something the fans will talk about for a long time to come."

Flippa's current singles include Talk Bout We on the Mad Panamera rhythm from Darkcide International, and Real to the People, which is featured on the Dutty Cartoon rhythm from Board House Records.

His upcoming performances include a show on June 16 in Philadelphia and July 14 in Chicago.
