The Garnet Silk Foundation is refuting claims that the late singer’s remains were stolen.

Fabian Smith the second child for Garnet tells Music News that his father’s remains are safe and with his children.

Fabian adds that plans are being put in place to take his father to a final resting place that is more secure and will allow fans to freely pay tribute to singer Garnet Silk.

All this stems following talks of the construction a museum to honour Garnet Silk’s life and works by individuals who do not have the legal rights.

During the early 1990s Garnett Silk was hailed as a rising talent, but his career ended due to his untimely death in 1994.
