Artiste Baby Chris is denying rumours that he has been afflicted with the deadly disease, AIDS. The rumours began circulating via BB that the artiste, who is famous for his Ring Ding Ding Ding single, was withering away from the disease.

According to Baby Chris, the rumour was started by one of his ex-girlfriends in England.

"Basically this girl from England got jealous because we are no longer together. She tell me say she a go do something fi flop me and cut me hype, so me know a she start the rumour," Baby Chris told THE STAR.

He went on to say that he was shocked when fans and friends from all over the world began calling him about the rumour.

"People a call and say dem see BB a send round say me AIDS, but mi know me straight and my conscious clean, mi nuh have AIDS. Dem can send doctor come test me, mi clean," he said.

The artiste said he confronted his ex in England but she denied the allegations.

"Sometimes people get badmind and jealous. Dem a try keep me down and keep me away from my focus, but this is just making me stronger,' he said.

"She a try make girls keep away from me and fi make my fans look pon me a way, but it nah work," Baby Chris said.

Baby Chris has also made the move to change his name to 'Jus Chriss'.

"Bounty Killer saw me at Weddy Weddy recently and him say a him gimme the name, but now mi ting deh pon a different level and mi career a grow so him say mi fi name Jus Chriss. You have Justin Timberlake, Justin Beiber and now you have Jus Chriss,' the artiste said.

In the meantime, he is gearing up for tours in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean islands to promote his two latest singles Cupid and Street Pledge.
