Taliban Rages War on Kayla Di Diva on new rhythm

As the war season dawns on the dancehall music industry, another set of artistes have begun to throw lyrical blows at each other.

At the centre of the unfolding drama is Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall winner Taliban and runner-up Kayla Di Diva.

Both female artistes have already begun their feud by recording songs on the 'African Gyal' rhythm, produced by Extreme Music Promotion, operated by up-and-coming producer Anthony 'Traina' Cross.

The STAR contacted Kayla Di Diva and according to her, Taliban threw the first stone.

"She duh a song name Bad Gyal Christmas and I was told that it was all about me, so I responded with Messy Christmas. People want to see the clash thing so I am giving them what they want, mi ready fi di war. People can just come a Sting and expect victory. She feel like she did win Magnum clash but that was just favouritism, so I am going to make people know it's no backing down ting, a straight war," Kayla said.

The reigning queen, Taliban, who now goes by the alias Tally, says she is ready for war as well.

"I did my song first off the 'African Gyal' rhythm and she hear it and guh counteract and a seh she a guh ambush mi and a my style dat. I did three songs and discipline her and mi nuh hear from har since, suh mi si seh she a waste a time. Maybe she needs a highlight or a little money but mi a guh war har a Sting and Failure Di Diva mi a call yu out. Mi is a Ninja Man type a girl mi wi kill yu pon the spot," she continued.

"Mi change mi name to Tally because immigration nuh like Taliban. Suh mi name Tally, nuh dilly dally. Failure Di Diva violate but obeah wucka head a get roll dung di hill like a trolly," the Queen warned.

Traina is currently gearing up to release another rhythm called 'Training School' which will feature Mr Perfect, Teflon, Gigsy King, Fantan Mojah, Mad Cobra and Macka Diamond.

The producer also said he is doing bookings for several entertainers within the Extreme Music Promotion camp, including Tally.

"Whatever hard work yu put to yu ting, yu ting will come out into perfection and people can expect greatness from this label. In the Extreme camp right now wi have Tally, Zamunda, Al Third and wi hope to get Turbulence in soon. People just look out for the 'Training School' rhythm and the 'African Gyal'. And Tally video Gotta Make It is out right now," Traina explained.

At Sting last year there was also a clash between artistes from the Magnum show, as Hurricane, the champion of the competition, went up against runner-up Specialist.

Specialist was crowned the winner of the face-off.
