Ity & Fancy Cat for 14 parishes? - New season will possibly be filmed around the island

With season five expected to start earlier than usual, Ian "Ity" Ellis said there is a possibility that the Ity and Fancy Cat show could be filmed in all 14 parishes of Jamaica.
Speaking with THE STAR about the recently concluded show, Ellis explained that for the next season the duo might film parts of the show in different parishes.
"We are seriously considering doing the show in every single parish in Jamaica. It is something that we are looking at strongly," he said.
"Wi nuh pencil it out yet. But we are thinking of linking the shows on the road. By the time the season done, we go through the whole of Jamaica. We woulda lose some semblance of the live audience but you woulda still get the street. Usually you get something that people want to see. It is interesting, funny and unscripted," he said.
Although happy for a break when season four ended recently, Ity said, "We are already thinking about how to make season five greater."
He added that the next season might also get off to an earlier start at the first quarter of next year, as they "have another plan for the second part of the year." However, he was reluctant to state what those plans are.
Nonetheless, Ellis said the last season was a successful one but not without challenges.
"The season was challenging. It was the first season we have had to deal with a lawsuit or anything like that but I must say it was the most successful one on many deliverables. We had a successful show week after week. Every show we had at least one hit. We rediscovered that people love the road segment 'How Would You React'. It is the most loved segment," Ellis told THE STAR.
He added that it was also a season when Rosa Rose gained popularity and other actors got noticed.
But before the next season, Ellis said they will be hosting Christmas Comedy Cook-up at Wyndham Kingston hotel in New Kingston on December 26. He said the event will be televised and will also feature international comedians like Henrietta and Trixx.
