VYBZ Kartel was remanded in custody when he appeared in the Gun Court section of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court to face murder, conspiracy and gun charges today.

He was ordered to return to court next Wednesday when a decision on a bail application made on his behalf by his attorneys will be made by the presiding magistrate.

 The embattled deejay will also be brought back to court to answer to a second charge of murder on Monday.

Earlier today he was remanded in custody until October 31 when he answered to a charge of possession of ganja.

Vybz Kartel was arrested in a hotel in New Kingston in early October and was jointly charged along with Nigel Thomas and Lainberg McDonald with the July murder of Barrington 'Bossie' Burton days later.

On Monday he was slapped with a second murder charge in relation to the killing of Clive 'Lizard' Williams. Kiro Jones, also called 'Ray Jones', is also charged for that killing.

Police from the Constant Spring Criminal Investigation Branch accuse both of killing Williams on August 16th in Havendale, St Andrew.
