US-BASED Jamaican singjay Quain has never forgotten his roots. The 21-year-old recently gave back to his alma mater, the White Horses Primary in St Thomas.

"We will be selecting 100 students with the highest marks to award the following: One, school supplies," he said.

Quain continued that he will also be offering scholarships to the top two performing students transitioning into high school.

Quain, whose real name is Anthony Burnett, and whose single include I Wish, In the Street, Why Dem a Judge We, and I Wanna Know, said he felt compelled to give back.

"As a child growing up with my peers, sharing was always essential. I knew that not every one of us got the same blessings in life, but many of us share the same dreams. By sharing my blessings, I could help someone live a piece of, if not their entire, dream. My mentor is The Most High," he said.
