JAMAICAN reggae artiste Sizzla Kolonji's planned concert in Stockholm, Sweden, was scrapped due to complaints about the anti-gay lyrics of his songs, organisers said.
The entertainer, whose full name is Miguel Collins, was booked to perform at the Hornstull Strand on March 28. The show was cancelled after lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender activists and their supporters voiced their outrage over his songs, which contain lines about killing and burning homosexuals.
Some of Sizzla's concerts in Canada and England have also been cancelled because of the public outcry.
