Snoop Lion appears to have given his support to gay marriage – which is currently the subject of debate and legal battles in the US.

The rapper-turned-reggae star – also known as Snoop Dogg - told The Huffington Post: “People can do what they want and as they please.

“Satisfy yourself accordingly. I have no issues with nobody. I live for me and I live my life doing what I do, so you should have the right to do whatever you want to do.”

The Supreme Court in the US is currently hearing an argument that California’s ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional.

And the issue has previously attracted the support of stars including George Clooney, Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie.
