Tommy Lee's camp says 'bawling' audio is fake

Social media buzzed with excitement earlier this week, following the release of an audio on a popular gossip website which featured an alleged conversation between dancehall producer Elvis Redwood and Tommy Lee Sparta, during which Tommy Lee Sparta cried as he discussed how profits from his music would be shared with PG 13 Records.

During the six-minute audio clip, a voice allegedly mimicking Tommy Lee Sparta, claimed that his life was being threatened because profits from his earnings were not going to PG 13 Records.

The STAR contacted Tommy Lee's business partner and publicist Keona Williams for comment and she says the audio is fake.

"Elvis called and he says he knows nothing about the conversation. There is a response video on Tommy Lee's page, and it's a sensitive issue right now so we don't want to say anything more," Williams said.

In the response video posted on Tommy Lee Sparta's facebook page, Elvis Redwood says the audio is an attempt to smear Tommy Lee's character.

"Me and Tommy Lee nuh have no such conversation anytime me and Tommy Lee have a conversation it's always at the studio. Wi nuh call and discuss nothing; wi have a meeting place. when wi a duh music yu know sey a di studio," Elvis said.

The controversial audio also alleged that Popcaan's manager was reaping all the profits from the artiste despite the fact that Portmore Empire gave him the exposure.
