"Ity and Fancy Cat are easily Jamaica'stop comedy act. so we feel that this night is going to be an instant hit, because they know how to work an audience and we want to bring back that vibe where working people can come and party and laugh, and de-stress after a hard week at work," Corey Todd said in a release.

Ity and Fancy Cat honed their craft and practised their mastery of participatory party entertainment as hosts at the then Asylum nightclub from 2000 to 2009. During that time, Ity hosted 'Wacky Friday' after-work jam and Fancy Cat hosted 'Girls Night Out' every week.

Working individually, Ian 'Ity' Ellis and Alton 'Fancy Cat' Hardware had the club filling up and the bars kept busy, while the stage and dance floor constantly erupted in excitement with their irreverent antics on Fridays and Tuesdays, respectively. Now they join forces to make every Friday a phenomenal experience with the Ity and Fancy Cat After-work Jam at Club Riddim.
