With just over two weeks since the release of Lutan Fyah's 'street album', it has been getting rave reviews worldwide.
The 26-track album titled 'New Day' was released by Dejavu Records in collaboration with Dbeatzz Music Group out of Miami. Since its release, the album has garnered the attention of many fans, as it got over 14000 downloads via the Internet over a short period of time.
"I am very elated about the feedback that I have been getting as I always record music that people can relate to," said the beaming artiste.
"With many more songs like these, Lutan could be on the billboard chart soon, as I believe there is much more room for Jamaican artistes," Dbeatzz highlighted.
The reggae singer and songwriter is known for various singles such as DeLa Vega, Mighty Than Dem, Save The Juvenile and others.
The many favourites of the current street album includes: New Day, She No Want To Settle Down, Ambition, Come Over, Ungrateful, You've Got Me and Ramp and Play.
"This street album is basically of a different sound, more refreshing from what we normally hear on the streets. The album was basically done to create a street buzz," Dejavu added. Lutan Fyah is now anticipating his many overseas shows scheduled for early summer.
