Still riding the wave of being chosen as the face of Bijoux Caribbean, gangstress Stacious has teamed up with reggae crooner Gramps Morgan on a new reggae track titled Found Love.
Renowned as a risk-taking, raunchy artiste, Stacious told The STAR that this song showcases her softer side. No stranger to collaborations, having reaped tremendous success with Come Into My Room with Mavado, Stacious added that she and Gramps Morgan have a musical connection.
"He's awesome and talented. We just have this vibe musically. I've had this idea for about two years and I went to him with it. He loved it and decided to come on board, and made this song really pop," she said.
Likewise, Gramps Morgan said he was equally impressed with Stacious, having been a fan of hers since her duet with the Gully Gad.
no-brainer
"When she brought the song to me, it was a no-brainer for me to get on board. I've been a fan of hers from I heard her song with Mavado. That song was one of the most brilliant duets. The energy was like a sister-best friend vibe. I was very impressed by her," he told The STAR.
The song, which was released a few days earlier, has already been picking up on social media and is about unexpected love. "The people who I've sent it to all say that it sounds like a hit and that it sounds international. That's the market I really need to capitalise on," Stacious said.
The singjay is also working on more reggae singles to be released in the upcoming months and will also release her newest track, Too Hot To Handle, in time for the carnival season.
