Vybz Kartel showed up in court without his hair extensions.
The dancehall deejay is now sporting a baldhead after cutting off his braids due to lack of upkeep Music News understands.
It was a busy day for Kartel as he had two cases brought before the courts. When the matter regarding the deejay’s ganja possession was called, the court was informed that witnesses were not available. The trial was then rescheduled for April 13.
Kartel was offered a $40,000 bail but he cannot take it up because of other criminal charges pending. The police said a quantity of ganja was found when they held the deejay and others in a hotel room in New Kingston last September.
Meanwhile, the murder trial of Barrington 'Bossie' Burton, who was shot dead while standing among a group of persons in Gregory Park, St Catherine last July, was transferred to the Home Circuit Court from the Gun Court section of the R-M Corporate Area Court this morning.
The court is currently still in session. Keep it locked for the details.
